Introducing the FCA Status Filter

15 November 2017 Sam HockleyProduct

Ensure all of your new prospects are regulated and get more customers approved. With the new FCA Status filter from DueDil, you can easily identify companies based on their FCA registration status.

Looking to limit prospecting activity to companies registered or authorised by the FCA? Or target companies that have had their registration suspended? Just apply this filter and focus your search on companies that meet your criteria.

FCA Status can also be added to Lists, making it simple to understand the registration status of an existing list of customers or suppliers.

What is it?

The FCA Status filter enables users to identify companies with a specific FCA registration status. These include:

  • Registered
  • Authorised
  • Authorised (Schedule 5)
  • EEA Authorised
  • Authorised Electronic Money Institution
  • Small Electronic Money Institution
  • Suspended
  • Cancelled
  • Revoked
  • Other

When the filter is applied, a new column is added to the search that provides a direct link to each company’s profile on the FCA website.

The filter can be found within the Lists and Other Sources tab in Advanced Search. It can also be added as a column in Lists.

What can it be used for?

The FCA Status filter benefits a number of use cases.

Sales teams working in financially-sensitive markets can use the filter to ensure that the companies they are prospecting a fully regulated, minimising the risk of customers being rejected by internal credit teams.

Compliance or credit teams can add FCA Status as a column within an existing list of customers or suppliers, making it easy to identify the registration status of each business. This information can subsequently be exported as part of a CSV.

The FCA Status filter is available now to all DueDil customers. To find out more about the filters and data types available on DueDil, check out our Data Types overview.
